'We were all deeply saddened to hear the news that Chris Murray OBE, our former Operations Director and Company Secretary passed away peacefully on Tuesday 26th September. Our thoughts are with his family, many friends and all those knew Chris during his long and successful career both in the RAF and later with the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises'.

There are many reasons why people decide to become an Air Tattoo volunteer.
Not only is it fun and hugely rewarding, offering opportunities to make friends, learn new skills and apply existing ones but you'll also be volunteering to support a great cause - the RAF Charitable Trust.
And there's no such thing as a 'stereotypical' Air Tattoo volunteer! As a leading, international aviation event our 1,500+ strong volunteer team is as diverse as the many aircraft that join us from around the world each year. Whoever you are and whatever your background, we believe we have a rewarding volunteer role to suit you.
We are the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises whose mission is to promote the Royal Air Force and inspire young people and RAF personnel to fulfil their potential in air and space through a program of world-class events and activities.
Volunteering is a hugely rewarding opportunity. Not only will you help us support the RAF Charitable Trust, but you will also have the opportunity to make friends and learn new skills along the way.
Loved every minute immensely, great can do culture
I feel very valued as a volunteer. We are offered complimentary and reduced rate tickets, given a uniform and discount on all the merchandise. On top of this we are thanked by everyone from the team supervisors and managers to the Chairmen of the Royal Airforce Charitable Trust.
A shout out to another fantastic RIAT team - The Viewing Village Team who hosted almost 12,000 members of the public to their enclosure over the three days of RIAT. From old hands, to the newbies who slipped seamlessly into the team, the embodiment of what being a RIAT volunteer is all about.
The best part of the day was watching the Eurofighter Typhoon flying and listening to all the jets with full throttle and the noise of the jets.
It was one of the most satisfying shows I have attended in the past 20 years and the quality of support provided to volunteers, especially the Village Pub idea, made me feel valued.
