Airbus Helicopters H175M - Civilian

Appearing on static display at RIAT 2022 is the H175M Medium Utility Helicopter demonstrator provided by Airbus Helicopters. The H175M is a proposed militarised version of the successful standard H175 and is competing for a contract to replace the Puma HC.Mk2 in RAF service plus three other types in use by the British Army. It is hoped that the winner of the contract for between 36 and 44 helicopters will be announced during January 2023 with deliveries to commence the following year. Whilst the H175 was developed in partnership with the Chinese firm AVIC, who also build and market the H175 as the AC352, the proposed H175M version will not include any Chinese made parts.
