Bremont Broussard

Max Holste MH.1521 Broussard

Developed for the French Army in the early 1950s as a robust utility aircraft similar to the DeHavilland Beaver, the Broussard served with the French military until 1996. The aircraft saw significant service in Algeria as an artillery spotter and air ambulance. The Broussard proved that it could take significant damage and remain airworthy which was a great advantage when its distinctive sound could be heard from some distance away by the enemy.
