Following the success of last year's Virtual Air Tattoo, aviation fans can again look forward to a first-class feast of flying entertainment, with all new, specially commissioned video content.

On Saturday 17 July, what would have been the real Air Tattoo weekend, you can enjoy the next best thing with a six-hour, free-to-view, live-streamed virtual event from 10am to 4pm. Streamed live on Facebook and YouTube, Air Tattoo commentators and aviation experts Ben Dunnell and Mark Manwaring will again present the exclusive programme featuring all new contributions from the Royal Air Force and air arms from around the globe, with filming taking place over the last few weeks. 

Making a welcome return will be the virtual flying aces who wowed viewers last year with their aerobatic displays flown, like their military counterparts, with pinpoint precision. 

The virtual event will turn the spotlight on the airshow's 50th anniversary, with specially filmed packages celebrating this important aviation milestone plus recently digitised footage of iconic moments from years gone by, including the top 5 as voted by you! 

As well as featuring special guests and interviews, we will invite you to get involved via social media, making the Virtual Air Tattoo a great interactive experience. Filmed by Planes TV and hosted from a live studio we are looking forward to seeing your photos again, this year wearing our 50th Anniversary hoodies, T-shirts and Polo-shirts.
