Are you thinking about volunteering at the Air Tattoo but unsure what it's like to do so?

Volunteering is a fun and hugely rewarding opportunity. Not only will you help us support the RAF Charitable Trust, but you will also make great friends and learn new skills.

Once you've been accepted as a volunteer we will keep you informed of everything you need to know before you arrive for the airshow.

Team Reception

Each team has different roles and time requirements for volunteering at the Air Tattoo, but everyone when they first arrive visits Team Reception. You'll be greeted with a warm smile and you will receive a welcome pack that is full of all the relevant information you need to know such as your accommodation and dining times.

At the Air Tattoo, we have a range of different accommodations available. The volunteer accommodation is basic and all rooms will be on a shared basis. We also have a campsite where you can stay in your own tent, caravan or motorhome! We are here to make sure you get a great night's sleep and wake up ready for a thrilling day at the Air Tattoo!

We provide three meals a day for all of our volunteers. We now have an Airfield Diner so it's easy for our volunteers to stop and enjoy a great meal. Dietary requirements can be catered for.

There is a Village Pub where you can relax with your team at the end of a busy day.
