The World's Greatest Airshow is 50!

50th Anniversary Show is on 16-18 July 2021 at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire

Since it was first staged at North Weald Aerodrome in 1971, the Royal International Air Tattoo has grown to become the greatest military airshow in the world. We'd love you to join us next summer as we mark our 50th anniversary with a spectacular celebration of aviation reflecting this very special occasion.

Please be assured that throughout the build-up to the 2021 airshow, and on the day, we shall adhere to all advice issued by the Government relating to COVID-19 and the organisation of large, public outdoor events to ensure the Royal International Air Tattoo 2021 is both safe and hugely successful.

As a token of our gratitude for your on-going support - and to make sure as many people as possible can join us next summer - we have decided to hold our 2020 admission ticket prices for 2021. Additionally, we are also continuing to offer all under-18s free entry (with a paying adult), underlining our commitment to inspire young people through aviation and by bringing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) curriculum to life. You can purchase your tickets HERE

Why we are the World's Greatest Airshow

When it comes to deciding where to demonstrate their aircraft's capabilities and the professionalism of their aircrew, many of the world's Air Arms put the Royal International Air Tattoo at the top of their list.

In 2018, 245 exciting aircraft from 39 air arms representing 25 nations from around the globe touched down at RAF Fairford for the Air Tattoo, making it the best place to view an incredible range of military fixed wing and rotary aircraft.

For a taste of the sort of aircraft you might expect to see in 2021, view our extensive participation lists from previous Air Tattoos HERE
