Grob 520NG

The Grob 520 series was developed as a high-altitude surveillance platform during the 1980s for Germany and the USA. The type has been successfully operated by various scientific agencies and represents a cost-effective alternative to satellite-taking or long-endurance surveillance drones. The Grob G520NG is the latest version which features modernised systems, a more powerful engine and the ability to be flown remotely. The G520NG also includes a large payload bay allowing the type to be configured as required.

Grob will be providing a number of aircraft for static display at this year’s Air Tattoo. This will include their Grob G520NG as part of our ‘Eyes in the Skies’ theme.
