Vertical Aerospace VX4
Vertical Aerospace have partnered with a variety of aerospace firms and airlines to develop and market a zero-emission piloted passenger aircraft utilising groundbreaking technology.
The company is developing the VX4 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, with an expected range of 100 miles, that can carry up to four passengers in addition to the pilot. The VX4 will be more discreet than a helicopter and is intended to shuttle passengers from out-of-town airports into cities quickly and efficiently. Over 1,000 examples are expected to be ordered.
The VX4 is currently conducting flight testing at the Cotswold Airport in Kemble and made history during May 2025 when the prototype made the first piloted eVTOL flight in open airspace ever.
The VX4 will be making its public debut at RIAT25 on static as a shining example of sustainable aviation.
