About the role:
The primary role of our Photographer Admin Assistant is to help assist the Photography Manager in all administrative tasks, including the planning and assignments of photography briefs to our photographers, record keeping and the organisation of volunteer group and team photos.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Operating as part of a team of volunteers
- Help plan photographers’ workload
- Assist in the organisation and scheduling of volunteer group and team photos.
- Help keep up-to-date accounts of fulfilled and unfulfilled photography requirements
- Supporting the PR & Engagement Officer and Photography Manager with any ad hoc photo requests
- Familiarising themselves with showground layout and operational areas
What commitment is required?
- Availability from Wednesday preceding the airshow to the Monday (15th - 20th July 2026)

Travel:
In line with our sustainability commitment, we strongly encourage volunteers to car share wherever possible, and/or utilise public transport.
The following is in place to support our volunteers with any out-of-pocket expenses.
- Motor Mileage: Claim 45p per mile (maximum 315 miles) return mileage to RIAT and to encourage car sharing, an additional 5p per additional passenger may be claimed by the vehicle driver
- Train Fare: Travel should be standard class; reimbursement will be made up to the maximum claim amount (£100.00) on the production of receipts, tickets, or confirmation email
