About the role:
This role supports the Social Media Manager by capturing and producing engaging content for RIAT during the show period.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Capture and produce engaging photo and video content across the showground, showcasing the scale and excitement of the event
- Deliver real-time social media coverage, including live updates, behind-the-scenes features, and stories across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
- Work closely with the RIAT Social Media Manager to ensure captured content is published in a timely manner
- Conduct interviews and capture candid moments with exhibitors, participants, and visitors to create authentic, story-led social media posts
- Collaborate with photographers and videographers to produce cohesive coverage aligned with RIAT’s branding and tone
What commitment is required?
- Five days commitment from Wednesday 15th July to Monday 20th July

Travel:
In line with our sustainability commitment, we strongly encourage volunteers to car share wherever possible, and/or utilise public transport.
The following is in place to support our volunteers with any out-of-pocket expenses.
- Motor Mileage: Claim 45p per mile (maximum 315 miles) return mileage to RIAT and to encourage car sharing, an additional 5p per additional passenger may be claimed by the vehicle driver
- Train Fare: Travel should be standard class; reimbursement will be made up to the maximum claim amount (£100.00) on the production of receipts, tickets, or confirmation email
